I’m Jen Kwok, a writer & performer who was born in “the Valley” of Southern California, raised in the Mojave Desert, and currently based in New York’s Hudson Valley.
As a second generation Chinese American and the daughter of Vietnam War refugees, I specialize in using humor and music to weave personal storytelling with universal human experiences. My incredibly diverse resume includes writing songs for Sesame Street, acting in Netflix's "Friends From College" and performing comedy at The Kennedy Center.
I’m also a wife, mom, and advocate for mental health and the Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
